PAN (Permanent Account Number) is an identification number given to all taxpayers in India.
PAN is an electric system through which all the information for a person/ company is recorded against a single PAN number.
It acts as a primary key for storage of information and is shared across the country. Hence no two entities can have same PAN.
a. To apply for PAN, please visit the e-Filing website of Income-tax department. (Url: www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in)
b. Click the link- 'Instant PAN through Aadhaar'.
c. Click the link- 'Get New PAN'.
d. Fill in your Aadhaar in the space provided, enter captcha and confirm.
e. The applicant will receive an OTP on the registered Aadhaar mobile number; submit this OTP in the text box on the webpage.
f. After submission, an acknowledgement number will be generated. Please keep this acknowledgment number for future reference.
g. On successful completion, a message will be sent to the applicant's registered mobile number and e-mail id (if registered in UIDAI & authenticated by OTP). This message specifies the acknowledgement number.

b. Click the link- 'Instant PAN through Aadhaar'.
c. Click the link- 'Check Status of PAN'
. d. Submit the Aadhaar number in the space provided, then submit the OTP sent to the Aadhaar registered mobile number.
e. Check the status of application- whether PAN is allotted or not.
f. If PAN is allotted, click on the download link to get a copy of the e-PAN pdf.
The first step of this process is to go the NSDL website and link on the application which says “ONLINE PAN APPLICATION”
FORM NO 49 A needs to be filled and filed up properly.
After filing the forms, all the documents needs to be attached as annexure to the form.
After filing up all the forms, it has to be submitted online.
An acknowledgment will be generated and the PAN will be delivered to the registered office the company.
After the acknowledgment is generated PAN card will be sent to the registered office within a span of 15-20 days.

Under Section 96, The company needs to conduct an Annual General Meeting (AGM) every year with a gap not exceeding 15 months between any 2 AGM. The Annual General Meetings need to be presided over with a minimum attendance of 1/3rd directors or a minimum of 2, whichever is higher.
A company auditor needs to be appointed within 30 days of the company's incorporation through Form ADT – 1 and sent to the ROC.
A company needs to apply for GST to conduct any business activities in the country. Having a GST number becomes mandatory if the company is engaging in interstate business, having an online store or having an annual turnover exceeding 20 lacs.
At the same time, the company needs to ensure GST is filed every month irrespective of any turnover in the company books.
The registration of the company name with the ROC does not ensure the protection of your name or brand. For complete ownership rights over your name, brand and logo, you need to apply for Trademark Registration.
